Omar Khan has over 30 years of experience in pharmaceuticals in senior strategic and operational posts. Prior to Dayarn Pharma, he was Head of Marketing and Sales Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe for Novartis. Previous to this, Omar was with Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) in a variety of roles. He was Head of Sales for BI UK, before being promoted to Head of UK Strategic Operations. Following his UK success, Omar was posted to BI HQ in German, where he held a number of positions; As Regional Business Manager he was responsible for delivering the P&L for the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and Taiwan operative units. Omar then moved to Alliance Lead for Africa, Asia, Australasia and Japan (AAA region) for Boehringer's co-promotion deals with Lilly and Pfizer. He was accountable for the successful commercialisation of the co-promotion molecules across AAA region. Omar began his career at Eli Lilly and holds a degree in Biochemistry from Royal Holloway College, London, and an MBA from Durham University Business School.
Adil Zaman has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals in regional, director level posts. He has been with Dayarn Pharma as Marketing Director from day one. Prior to this he was Marketing Director for Pfizer in Pakistan having joined the company as a Sales Director, where he helped to establish and grow a 100 million dollar business with a national team of over 500 employees. In addition to his senior operational roles he helped shape the strategic direction for Pfizer Pakistan as a Board Member. Adil was involved in number of regional initiatives driven by the Hong Kong Regional Office to help shape Pfizer's long term Asia strategy. Adil played a key role in a number of strategic planning initiatives across Asia. Prior to this he was head of Consumer Healthcare with Parke Davis. He began his career with ICI Pharmaceuticals.
Hazel Dodd is an experienced SME Finance Director. Before joining Dayarn she was Finance and HR Director for CAN, a registered charity and social enterprise in the UK, helping the company through a strong focus on sustainable growth, raising and restructuring capital. Prior to this Hazel was Financial Controller for Cagney, a UK AIM listed media company, responsible for business planning, consolidation and subsidiary performance. She trained at Ernst & Young London before moving on to BskyB and subsequently NewsCorporation in New York. Before relocating to Dubai, she held the post as a Board Trustee at UnLtd, in the UK and is currently Non-Exec Director at a Financial Sector organisation GraingerWest Ltd. Hazel holds a BSc in Economics and Business Economics (Southampton) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Jane Naqhsbund is a qualified British lawyer and long-term learning and personnel development professional with more than 25 years of experience in a series of demanding and high-profile roles. Prior to joining Dayarn Pharma, she worked for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office based in the Middle East, managing the regional team responsible for the learning and development of staff across eighteen British Missions. As a Trainer and Management Consultant Jane has previously worked with several clients in the UK, including West Midlands Regional Health Authority, SCOPE, Women's Aid, The Family Health Services Authority, Boehringer Ingelheim and was previously Director of the Citizen Advice Bureaux' ‘Social Welfare, Poverty, Ill-Health and Legal Advice' project in the UK. Jane is a NLP, SDI and MBTi Practitioner. She is a qualified Hypnotist and ‘Investor in People' Assessor.
Graham Rathbone has over 30 years of experience in the Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical industry, gained largely in senior roles with Medtronic in the Asia-Pacific and Australasia and Abbott in the UK. As Medtronic's Senior Director of Marketing, Cardiovascular, Asia Pacific, he integrated the company's Coronary and Cardiac Surgery businesses across the region. He was also Regional Director of Marketing, Coronary Vascular, during a five-fold growth period for the business unit. During his period with Medtronic Graham was sent on assignment to Medtronic HQ in the US as international Marketing Director for interventional cardiology. His early career was spent in sales and marketing roles with Abbott Laboratories, Eli Lilly, and Sherwood Medical, now part of Covidien. Graham holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry (Leicester), and an MA in Marketing (Sydney).
Haytham Khalifa has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry in the Middle East working for leading companies in Egypt and KSA. Before joining Dayarn Pharma he was Sales Manager for Bioderma in KSA where he helped shape its success to become the number one beauty range in the market. Prior to this Haytham was Area Manager for Astellas also in KSA where he held several medical positions across the Kingdom. He began his career as a Medical Representative in Cairo, for Hoechst Marion Roussel. Haytham holds a BSc, Pharmaceutical Science (Cairo), and a Diploma in Advanced Business Studies.
