Omar Khan has over 30 years of experience in pharmaceuticals in senior strategic and operational posts. Prior to Dayarn Pharma, he was Head of Marketing and Sales Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe for Novartis. Previous to this, Omar was with Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) in a variety of roles. He was Head of Sales for BI UK, before being promoted to Head of UK Strategic Operations. Following his UK success, Omar was posted to BI HQ in German, where he held a number of positions; As Regional Business Manager he was responsible for delivering the P&L for the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and Taiwan operative units. Omar then moved to Alliance Lead for Africa, Asia, Australasia and Japan (AAA region) for Boehringer's co-promotion deals with Lilly and Pfizer. He was accountable for the successful commercialisation of the co-promotion molecules across AAA region. Omar began his career at Eli Lilly and holds a degree in Biochemistry from Royal Holloway College, London, and an MBA from Durham University Business School.
Adil Zaman has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals in regional, directorlevel posts. He has been with Dayarn Pharma as Marketing Director from day one. Prior to this he was Marketing Director for Pfizer in Pakistan having joined the company as a Sales Director, where he helped to establish and grow a 100 million dollar business with a national team of over 500 employees. In addition to his senior operational roles he helped shape the strategic direction for Pfizer Pakistan as a Board Member. Adil was involved in number of regional initiatives driven by the Hong Kong Regional Office to help shape Pfizer's long term Asia strategy. Adil played a key role in a number of strategic planning initiatives across Asia. Prior to this he was head of Consumer Healthcare with Parke Davis. He began his career with ICI Pharmaceuticals.
Riyad Alhoraibi has over 15 years of successful experience in Venture Capital and Private equity investment and is CEO and CoFounder of Asas Capital, an Asset Management Investment company based in Dubai. He is also the Managing Director of Sahara Global Investment in Dubai and a member of the board for a number companies in KSA, UAE and the Middle East, including: Zad Modern Company and Noon Real Estate in Saudi Arabia and the Coral Aden Hotel and Gulf Aden Fisheries in Yemen. Riyad holds a BA in Economics from KAAU, Jeddah, and an MBA (American University of Sharjah).
Shk. Abdullah Saleh AlAlamoudi is a leading industrialist in the Middle East with over 30 years of experience in a variety of business roles. His current posts include:Chairman and partner of Alamoudi United Company; Chairman and Partner of Alamoudi Beverage Industries company; member of the board of Saudi Red Bricks Co and Chairman and Partner of Dalil Turkeya. His is also owner of Rhodes Establishment, an Agricultural Services company in Saudi Arabia, and owner of the real estate development company, Abdullah Alamoudi Consultant Office. He holds a BA in Architecture from Kansas State University.
